Yosuke is, admittedly, very curious. He knows that things have happened like hair and eye color changing, people suddenly speaking new languages, etc. But he isn't at all prepared for this.

He watches intently, eyes suddenly going wide when she goes all X-Men on him. Yosuke jumps. ]

[ Yeah about that not freaking out... ]

[Yep, that's her, a regular member of the Z-Men.  Standing there awkwardly, and looking just a little bit hurt by that reaction.  Her fingers close around the magic, crushing it out.]

I...um.  Apparently I can do that now.

[ What reaction was she really expecting?

Also, it kind of happens to be the first actual bit of magic he's seen coming from one of his friends, so...at least she's paving the way for everyone else, right? Sorry, Yukiko.

Freaked out as he is, Yosuke manages to pull himself somewhat together, feeling a little better once the flames are extinguished. ]

I mean the first time it just happened. I lit some candles in my room. Just...by reflex. and I set my hairbrush on fire too.

But I've had visions of this stuff too, yeah.

[ He's--not surprised, but, touched, really. Yukiko is a thoughtful person even if they spend most of their time messing with each other in a friendly way. ]

[ He exhales slowly through his nose. ]

I mean it, though. It's not that you're not cool now--obviously you are, I've always thought so. Weird powers and new talents are just, like, another layer to the coolness.
