Ready? God, I feel like it won't ever come. I'm so looking forward to just getting out and getting ready for college. My parents and I started getting the apartment setup. We'll have two empty bedrooms, unless my randomly assigned roommate from the dorms decides she wants to stay with us.

Right? [Eleanor made a tired noise.] I'm almost done with the last part of the paper then I think I'm done. Done-done.

[Huh. Roommates.]

I hadn't thought of that. I guess I technically have one of those too don't I...a random roommate who I won't be living with. [She snickers.]

Once that paper's done, we should start decorating.

What's the furniture situation?

Well, my parents have spare beds. We were going to replace a few at the B&B and the older ones are fine for us. They're just a little less than presentable.

Same with a couple of desks. Other than that, you'll want to bring your own. The place does have some chairs and a couch though. And a dining room table.

So, basically what you're saying is...

We could go furniture shopping. In fact, we need to go furniture shopping. That's what you're saying.

[Eleanor sounds way too excited saying this.]
