She said she wasn't upset, but I get the sense this issue is pretty personal for her. Maybe I shouldn't have brought it up, but... I didn't want to keep something that important a secret from her.

All we can do is support her. She's in the memories we share as well... we're all in this together.

Thanatos fell apart, and Ryoji was there. Like, literally broke apart. He was fine, aside from falling out of a tree.

I don't really know how. My...she...stabbed Thanatos through the heart, like some sort of samurai. And I remembered her name, then.

Her name... what is it?

You know, I saw Ryoji too. No, Thanatos. But we didn't fight. I just talked to him.

Sumeo-Okami. The proper name for Amaterasu.

[That name should ring strongly in the head of any Japanese person. It's one laced with meaning, even to an immigrant like Yukiko who hadn't been to Japan in years.]

He didn't want to talk when I saw him. He just lashed out.

... I see. That doesn't surprise me. He attacked me, too, but seemed reluctant. That's actually how I guessed he might be part of our group, too. The magic he used was familiar.

The way he acted seemed familiar to me. It just...it was a sense. I don't know. But he's connected somehow.

I'm going to work with him as best I can. Maybe help him control it.

I don't understand why you are doing what you are doing, but I don't have to understand. It's not my place to question you, or anything that you choose to do, only to respect your wishes.

I am not lying to you, and I would not lie to you. I have not had a memory about you yet. I want to. I want to understand you better, because you're someone I think of as a friend, but I don't remember anything about you yet.

... so have I. Mostly alone, but sometimes with Souji. It's been getting easier to summon without feeling tired, and I can use its magic now.

I know for a fact Yosuke can't summon anything, at least not yet. That leaves Minako and Shirogane-san.

So you're expecting me to believe that you're simultaneously observant enough to notice when nobody else has, yet not observant enough to realize that it's intentional?

Well, it's not the first time it's happened. Ryoji's used to dealing with things alone. That's how he's always been.

He may not have the most tact at times, but he's fairly decent at drawing logical conclusions as long as it doesn't relate to, like, dating. ]

You mean like all the visions people've been getting?

I was about to suggest the same thing myself. That sounds great. Maybe we could bring the others at some point, even if they can't participate. Maybe watching us will help them get their own powers back. We'll have them stay at a safe distance, of course.

She did tell me that she did a lot of fighting in her memories. It's likely that she'll end up having powers similar to ours.
